BLUFF CITY RULES COMMITTEE The Bluff City Rules Committee (RC) exists as a means of ensuring that club members uphold the standards of ethics and conduct outlined in the Club Rules. The RC hears and decides appeals of TD decisions and cases of alleged rules infractions. The RC also recommends Rules additions and clarifications. |

TO BRING A DISPUTE BEFORE THE RULES COMMITTEE Email bluffcitybridge@bellsouth.net stating the problem and what you would like done to fix it. If you have screenshots or other supporting documentation, attach it to your email. Based on your petition, the RC will decide whether or not to take (“consider”) the case. Remember that the burden of proof is on the person or persons who file the matter with the Rules Committee. If the RC does not take the case, that’s it – all done. The previous decision (or lack thereof) stands. Note that this does not mean that the RC agrees with the previous decision. It may just mean that the RC does not feel that there is enough evidence or grounds on which to proceed. If the RC takes the case, it will decide whether further testimony or evidence is to be solicited and whether relevant parties should be notified that there is a case under consideration. Until the RC process is ready for disclosure or publication to relevant parties, the information given to it is kept confidential. |
